Our Approach to Corrections

When we become aware of an error, we assess its significance and take appropriate action:

• Minor errors — Typos, formatting issues, or small inaccuracies that do not affect the overall meaning are corrected silently.
• Significant factual errors — Errors that materially affect the accuracy or meaning of an article are corrected with an editor's note at the top or bottom of the article explaining what was changed and why.
• Corrections to data or numbers — Incorrect statistics, figures, or data points are corrected and noted.

• A description of the error
• The correct information (with source if possible)

We aim to review and respond to correction requests within five business days.
